Allysha and Mimi were in Malibu yesterday for the B4BC team photoshoot! The day was spent on the beach surfing, skating, hiking through caves, riding bikes, and hanging out! Pro surfers Courtney Conlogue & Sage Erickson were there as well as pro snowboarders, Elena Hight & Hana Beaman. Here are some of Mimi & Allysha's pics from the day! hoopla rider, Annika Vrklan and her family helped raise funds for the new Encinitas YMCA skatepark. In return for their help (and other families' help too) the YMCA held a "Skate with the Pros" session to thank everyone for their contributions. Tony Hawk, Ryan Sheckler, Neal Mims, Andy MacDonald, Adam Taylor and others were there skating with the kids.

This weekend is Mother's Day and also the 9th annual Mighty Mama Skate-O-Rama!

"The Mighty Mama Skate-O-Rama is the annual charity event hosted by the Skateboard Moms/Sisters of Shred, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This non-competitive event is open to skateboarding women (both moms and non-moms) and their supporters (male or female). The event features our Rockin' Raffle, with proceeds benefiting local children's literacy programs. Mostly, though, we just have a hell of a lot of FUN!"

hoopla donated some product to the skateboard moms for their event this weekend. If you are in the San Jose area, be sure to check it out!

Mimi Knoop recently skated in a mini-ramp demo for a charity benefit called, "Children Mending Hearts" in Los Angeles. Proceeds from the event provided global arts and education to Los Angeles’ underserved youth. Honorees spotlighted at the event were soul surfer, Bethany Hamilton and local hero, Carson Meyer. Skaters in attendance were Mike McGill, Austin Poytner, Chad Bartie, Zane Timpson, Bryce Wettstein, and Sam S. Thanks to Mike McGill and World Cup for setting it up! Congrats to lea taylor who recently won a surfing title in her high school's girls surfing program! She also placed 2nd in the open women's division At the NSSA East Coast Regional Championships! This is Lea's first year competing in surfing and she is looking forward to progressing and entering more events on the East coast. From Lea; "I am having so much fun doing it while I am getting better, and I always remember to stay humble!" Keep up the good work, Lea!

If you are in Los Angeles this weekend, be sure to head to the beach for Surf Fest happening at the Hermosa beach pier! hoopla riders mimi knoop and allysha bergado will be there representing Boarding for Breast Cancer and signing autographs from 2-3 on Saturday!

Some of our hoopla team met up to skate Tony Hawk's private ramp a couple of weeks ago.. Allysha Bergado, CB Burnside, Alana Smith, and Mimi Knoop were in attendance. Below is our edit from the session!

This past weekend marked the 6th annual clash at clairemont charity benefit hosted by the mission valley YMCA and Grind for Life. This year was the first time the event ever got rained out- but that did not keep away the many fans and supporters! Tons of the world's top professional action sports athletes came out to show their support and hoopla donated some auction items too. Here are some pics from the event!
